Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I got this pedal at musiciansfriend.com for $100 plus s/h. I got this pedal cus I wanted to upgrade to double pedal and the only other left handed models were the Tama Iron Cobra and Pearl Elminator which are both top line but run around $270. So, I went with this pedal.

Easy set up. This pedal gets the job done and will last a good amount of time.

I noticed that the pedal squeaks pretty bad.But, when your playing you don't hear it. I don't like the beaters either, but those can be replaced easily.

This double pedal is single chained and has felt/plastic beaters. Pretty solid constrution.

If your left handed and on a budget than get this pedal until you got enough money for an Iron Cobra or Elminator. If your right handed (which most people are) cough up an extra 50 bucks and get a DW 4000 or Pearl PowerPro double pedal.
